Resume: Strategic management and technical standardisation are two management systems aprouches. This two aprouches have different ambitions and concepts, but also similar sources in quality principals and exellence models. Companies offenly do expect from technical standardisation results that only strategic management can delivere, so that can result in disopointment. Technical standardisation is begining to involve some elements of strategic management, but this two aprouches will continue to implement separetly.
