Resume: Global 8D is FORDs problem solving method. There is a long tadition of such a tools, like Ishikawa diagram, or other „cause/effect“ tools. Global 8D is widely accepted, not only by FORD suppliers, but by the whole global car industry. Global 8D is also good responce to direct TS16949 requirements, related to problem solving. This artical describes G8D method implementation preparation, as well as all 8 steps of G8D method implementation and reporting.
